Upfront diagnostics has developed LVOne, the world’s first rapid blood test designed to help identify large vessel occlusion (LVO) strokes at the point of care within minutes and improve triage decisions in the pre-hospital setting. Using innovative biomarkers, emergency teams are enabled to rapidly assess patients and identify those most likely to benefit from specialist interventions, reduce delays to treatment and consequently improve outcomes for patients experiencing acute neurological emergencies.

By combining Upfront Diagnostics’s technological innovation with Vingmed Group’s market expertise and distribution capabilities, this partnership will accelerate access to advanced healthcare solutions across the Nordic region. The collaboration also strengthens Vingmed’s offering within emergency and acute care diagnostics, enabling healthcare professionals to access innovative technologies that can contribute to clinical decision-making and improved patient pathways.

Under the agreement, Vingmed will serve as the authorised distributor for LVOne. The partnership is designed to decentralise stroke testing and reduce time to thrombectomy, bringing specialist-level triage capability closer to the patient at the earliest possible stage of care.

This partnership with Vingmed forms part of Upfront Diagnostics’ broader EU distribution strategy, supporting the global commercialisation of LVOne and the company’s mission to make rapid, decentralised stroke diagnosis a standard of care.
